When can I start voting?

• You can start voting on April 1st. You’ll be able to vote on all the guys that signed up in March. Then on May 1st and so forth, you get to vote on all the guys that signed up before that date.

Can I vote more than once?

• You can vote for your favorite sexy men as many times as you like, but just once in a 24-hour period.

How do I win?

• It’s simple: Get the most number of qualifying votes in your category in a month. Totals are set back to zero at the start of each month, so if you don’t win in a particular month, you get start fresh again for the next month.

Can I win more than once?

• Even as hot as you are, you can only win once. The monthly winner from each category advances to the Finals, where the competition gets stiffer!

How old do you have to be to be in the Mature Guys category?

• 50 is the minimum but we'll take you even if you're sexy 49, but that's the limit. ...And ya, we know physical age doesn’t necessarily mean emotional maturity!

Why can’t other people be in my pictures?

• Because this contest is all about your kind of sexy, we just want to see you! If there’s more than one person in the picture, how do we know where to point our eyes?

Why do I have to put up at least of two pictures? Isn’t one good enough?

• We want to see more of you! When you check out a guy, do you just look at his face or his pecs or his… whatever? Two pics gives all the voters at least a little more than one perspective. Go ahead and show us your many sides!

Why can’t I put nude shots of myself in my profile?

• We personally have no problem with looking at pictures of naked men, and we appreciate you want to show off all your assets. But if we let you put nude shots up, we’d have to make everyone prove they’re 18 just to look at the site and that wouldn’t be any fun would it!

Why do I have to have one picture of myself as a man if I’m entering the Drag Queen category?

• Girlfriend! You don’t do drag 24/7 do ya? Eventually the makeup’s gotta come off. After we’ve seen how gorgeous you are in drag, we want to see how handsome you are as a guy. We support our trans-gendered sisters and those who are in transition, but this is the “Men of ’08 Contest” and it’s about Men and we want to showcase that.

How can I find out how many votes I have received?

• That’s our secret. This contest is about lots of people celebrating different kinds of sexy, and we wouldn’t want people to try to manipulate the vote totals.

Why does my profile disappear temporarily after I update it or change my pictures?

• Each time a profile is updated, either with different information or new pictures, we need to check it out again to make sure that all the new stuff continues to be appropriate for the contest. Rest assured, we try to do this as soon as possible so your profile gets back to public viewing and voting... after all, we do have to get our ZZZs too!

How come after I post a comment, it doesn't appear right away or at all?

• Every comment that is posted is reviewed first to make sure contact information (including full names) or inappropriate and negative language are not included. All comments must also be in English. If you want to contact each other privately, we welcome you to use the "Email Me" button on each profile - all you have to do is register to be able to do this.

How come I can’t post my email or phone number?

• Some people are mischievous – to say the least – and could put up anyone’s phone number or email address. Contestants can contact one another privately and directly, so if you haven’t set up your profile, do it now. Just too darn shy to put your pic up? You can always arrange to talk on Interactive Male! Just call 1-800-392-9200 and enter free code 7895 for 1 hour free (must be 18+, first time callers only).

When do the Finals begin and how do they work?

• The semi-finalists from April to August in each category advance to the Finals which begin Monday, September 8th. Voting for the Finals goes until Wednesday, October 8th where the public can vote for their favorite monthly winner as many times as they want (limited to one vote per person per 24-hour period). This means you can vote for your favorite semi-finalist in each category every day if you want. At the end of the voting period, the semi-finalist in each category with the most qualified votes will be the Grand Prize Winner of their category.

When will I get my Instinct Magazine subscription?

• Once the Men of '08 Contest is over after October 8th, we will contact everyone who submitted a profile that was approved, who checked 'Yes' to our subscription offer when they registered, and stayed in contest until the end. We will be asking for your delivery address so we can activate one-year subscriptions to Instinct Magazine, our 'Thank you' to all of you who entered the contest!
